The cutoff date for reservations was Feb 10th.
The hotel still has rooms available but at a higher rate.

RE: 2008 Easter Sunrise Services, Alexandria, Virginia
Sir Knights,
This year Easter will be celebrated on Sunday, March 23rd. This is the earliest date for Easter since 1913. Due to Easter being held at such an early date, the Grand Encampment Officers have decided to avoid any problems with the weather and hold the Easter Sunrise Service in the Plaza Ballroom at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center.
Following breakfast the Sir Knights will form in procession in the parking lot level and march to the Plaza Ballroom. There are only six short steps up to the level of the ballroom. Delegations are encouraged to bring their Beauceant for display in the ballroom. Due to the logistics of the ballroom, Grand Standards are not suggested. American flags will be in the ballroom and will not be needed for the procession.
We have received a tremendous response for this year’s Easter weekend activities and will have the largest crowd in recent history. We look forward to visiting with you in Alexandria and wish for you a safe trip.

OUR GRAND MASTER
The Grand Master of the Grand Encampment, Knights Templar of the United States of America, Sir Knight William H. Koon II, and his officers will greet everyone at the Sunday breakfast.
TOMB OF THE UNKNOWNS
On Saturday, March 22, 2008, at 10:00 A.M., the Grand Commandery of Indiana will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery honoring their members who fell in combat as members of the Armed Forces of the United States of America. They have again asked that everyone be invited to attend. Buses will leave the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center for Arlington National Cemetery at 9:00 A.M. Buses will unload at the visitors center for the short walk to the Tomb of the Unknowns. Buses will leave from the visitors' center at 11:00 A.M. to return to the hotel.
